The children are enjoying the activities at the Overhead Station.

 More geoboard designs....

Today we read a story and engaged in a discussion about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Following our story and discussion, we brainstormed ways that Dr. King would like us to show others that we care about them.  Here were the students' ideas....

~help people
~include everyone
~people with any color skin can be together
~be friends with everyone
~make other people happy
~give people smiles
~give others gifts
~get a grown-up if someone is hurt
~say, "I love you."
~love everyone in the world
~tell someone, "You're awesome!"

Today we met Nathan's 15-week-old puppy, Petey.  Many children received LOTS of kisses from this furry visitor.  The children asked Nathan some great questions about his puppy!!
