SNOWFLAKES~

On Tuesday, we discussed characteristics of a snowflake--both differences and similarities, including snowflakes have six sides and no 2 snowflakes are alike.  Each child had the opportunity to create his/her own snowflake.  These are on display on the bulletin board outside of our classroom.

 FREE CHOICE~
Jake reading to his friend, Seth.
Since introducing and adding the geoboards to our Math Magic Station, the children are enjoying creating designs and shapes on them.

 SNOWMEN~
After reading the story, Snowballs, earlier this week, children are creating their own snowmen at the Creation Station using various recycled items and trinkets.  These snowmen are hanging in our classroom.  Fortunately, they won't melt!

 INDOOR SNOW~
We created our own indoor snow in our sensory tub.  With some special "white crystals" and water.
This snow isn't cold and it won't melt.  This is Mrs. Spolter's kind of snow!!
