Today we introduced all of our calendar activities, including.....the day of the week, the month, the season, the date, the year, the weather, and the number of days we've been in school.

 Sasha, today's Friendly Frog, helps the teacher count and put 6 straws in the pocket to signify our 6th day of school!

Alek enjoys drawing with markers at the easel~a new activity during Free Choice.

Today we went to visit Mr. Vorenberg (Mr. "V") in the Lower School office.  He taught us a magic trick to do with our fingers and....

 ...played his guitar for us.

 

 We also met Mrs. Saling who works with Mr. "V" in the Lower School office.

 

 When we returned to our classroom today after P.E., we found this note.  The note was for Pre-K "A" from "Pre-K Bell", who is a fairy who watches us play and work while we are at school.  Pre-K Bell will leave us more notes this year.

 

 Pre-K Bell lives in the small wooden birdhouse in the photo below.

 

 Jake, Theo, Gavin, Mary, Jack S., and Caroline work to put together these floor puzzles.

 

Today we discussed what our wishes are for our time in Pre-K (what we want to learn).  Check out your child's wish on the bulletin board outside of our classroom.
