We had a great time celebrating our 100th day of school today.
It began with choosing a special 100 Days tag to wear.
Next, we answered this question on the morning message.....
During calendar activities, it became official....the 100th day of school!
Below is a photo of our 10 groups of 10 straws which turned into.....
....one group of a hundred straws.
During Free Choice, we had to guess which of the 3 jars had 100 items.
Later, when we counted the items in the jars, here is what we discovered......
...there were 80 Legos in jar #1.
...there were 63 cubes in jar #2.
...there were 100 pennies in jar #3!
For snack, we had to count out 10 pieces of 10 different types of foods. Then, we got to eat them!
Look for the paper in the photo below in your child's blue folder. We did not have time to complete it at school. So, we sent it home to complete. No need to return it to school!
